What is Lusa?
Lusa is a traditional Libyan Amazigh condiment. That served to resurrect the dried produce of the summer, an age-old method of conserving flavour and the bouny of a harvest.
A marriage of sun-dried tomatoes, dried onions and dried chillies. All fried together with tomato paste, garlic, cumin and caraway.
A deep and adaptable flavour for any sandwich, stew or dip.
What's Inside
From the Mountains.
Lusa comes from the Nafusa Mountains in northwest Libya, the ancestral homeland of the Amazigh people.
It served as a method to revive the dried produce of the harvest. Bringing sunshine and favour to any dish all year round.
No stabilisers. No fillers. Just good produce, love and a trained hand. The same way it has always been made.
